It is not just a question of lower costs, but namely it represents an environmental issue combined with friendly approach to the living environment.

Water running out from faucets includes not only washbasins, but all pertinent product categories: bathtubs, shower enclosures, bidets, and kitchen sinks. Water consumption in this category namely depends on the type of faucet mixing valve being used: the mixing valves fitted to Jika faucets are furnished with flow limiters – OPTIM ECO (except Cubito series faucets). In real life it means that users can define the optimum flow rate and water consumption. Usage is very simple: you can control water temperature by turning a faucet mixing valve ring; by turning out a restrictor screw at mixing valve shaft you can regulate the flow of water.

Water savings can also be reached by means of aerators that are used to mix water flow with air, reducing the flow rate, although it is not observed by the user; on the contrary, water streams seems luxuriously rich. Similar concept applies to shower heads with special nozzles that can save up to one third of water.
