The choice of a washbasin shape can have a major impact on how the bathroom looks. Alongside the more traditional round or oval sinks, square and rectangular bowls are also gaining ground. "Each type has its own charm. While oval sinks have a soft feel and are more suitable for softer interiors, square and rectangular models set up modern geometry in the interior and they can create a very interesting contrast," adds Lucie Opluštilová. But the shape of the washbasin also has practical implications. It affects everyday use, how water runs off, how easy it is to clean or how much space is left around the washbasin. All of these aspects need to be considered when choosing a bathroom sink to fully meet your needs and preferences.
