Today's cisterns are becoming smaller due to sustainability pressures favoring reduced flush volumes. The new 1/2" bottom-filling inlet valve takes up less space in the cistern, allowing the cistern to be narrower and the toilet to be shorter without compromising the WC pan size. Thanks to the external float tank equipped with a check valve, filling is very quiet, as it closes quickly at the end of the filling process. The same flap, on the other hand, prevents premature start of filling during flushing. Filling only begins when the water level drops and the flap releases the closing float. Another benefit is the inlet valve filter, which can be cleaned without opening the cistern.
